The story of the Maison Repetto began in 1947 with Rose Repetto, mother of Roland Petit, the Opera de Paris choreographer and ballet dancer. He asked her to create ballet shoes in her, workshop located at a stone's throw from the Opera house.

The Maison Repetto was born and the brand became the reference for ballet dancers.

In 1956, Brigitte Bardot ordered the first ballerinas from Rose. They were made in the same way as the ballet shoes, using the "stitch and return" technique.
The whole world fell in love with them and then began the legend of Repetto. The 'BB' flat was then to become the cendrillon flat.
